NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi ladies Hope your all well, I've not been on for a long time but looking for some advice. My Ds will be 5 next month and still isn't toilet trained at night, we have tried lifting him, regular toilet stops during the day, limiting liquid near bed time but still no use, we have never had a dry night, I think it's just one of those things that will come in time but any advice would be appreciated. Not much new, we were approved to adopt in December and still waiting for a match, to say we are le...

Dramatic 4yr old

Thank you both, he's very good at socialising and making friends, great eye contact, loves interaction so I'm not concerned, I suspect it's just a phase and I give in too easy but although very independent on one hand quite insecure on the other although can play alone for a short time and enjoys games. Clothes used to be a drama but now it's shoes, the ones he likes aren't an issue its just when you try and change them. X

Dramatic 4yr old

Hi ladies Looking for some advice, my ds is a very good boy the majority of the time and usually don't have many worries about him, he's a very sociable wee boy but God recently everything seems to be a drama in particular wearing shoes. When he settles on a pair he likes that's all he will wear, even the mention of wearing another pair of shoes causes a major meltdown. So this morning he said his trainers hurt so I'm assuming they are getting too small so I told him to put another pair on which...

Is this all for real?

Hi and welcome. Your post also made me smile and shed a few tears all at once, such a lovely honest post and reminded me of the start of our journey as well. I hope your results bring some good news, either way this site is fantastic and there is always someone around to offer help, advice and support. Good luck X

zero sperm

That cost was for all the tests we needed, a full icsi cycle and two frozen embryo transfers. Just be careful how you go about private and nhs, In Scotland if you go private and have even one success you are no longer entitled to nhs treatment which I think is very unfair but that's certainly the rules here. zero sperm

I had one successful round and two failed rounds, I couldn't do it more but that's a personal thing. Think we have spent about £10000 going private all in. We have now started the adoption process. X

zero sperm

Hiya we were lucky when we started out my husband had some sperm (only 4) and we had icsi which resulted in our son but went to try again last year and that's when we found out he longer had any sperm. We were told to try sperm retrieval but we had gone private for all treatment as like you I couldn't wait on a long list and for us it was just an added stress and expense and we decided not to have any more treatment. I hope you get some answers soon, how is your husband feeling? It can be very d...

zero sperm

Hiya I'm so sorry to hear that my husband also has zero sperm, I'm certainly no expert but I don't think you will conceive naturally. They advised my husband to go for sperm retrieval is this something they have spoken to you about? X

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi ladies Wardie my ds just used the toilet and was too big for a potty, he was 2.5 when he was trained. Cheenab my ds has always stood to pee so sorry I can't be of any help there, does he go to nursery? I think they encourage standing to pee but really no harm in him sitting. Hope your all well X

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi ladies Pip my ds who's now 3 1/2 still has cradle cap, I've been told also it will go away it its own time, my friends dd is just over 3 and also has it, my ds won't let me pick it and when I do bits of his hair comes out with it so I've stopped picking it now. I was discussing with my friend that maybe baby products were making it worse so I've started to use a small amount of my shampoo to see if there's any difference. I think it's a personal thing if you bath every day or not, it helps se...
