Salisbury Fertility Centre

Hi We had our treatment there and I can't thank them enough. We had a few up's and down's (to be expected) but they helped us achieve our dreams. We were supposed to have IUI but due to producing to many eggs, they allowed us to convert it to IVF. We had 11 egg's collected, of which only 3 fertilized, I had 2 put back (the 3rd didn't make it) and here I am with twin's If we were to go through treatment again I will DEFINATELY go back to SFC! with your journey x

RE: Yes they are TWINS!!

I get almost the same Indie 'Are they twins??' I've learnt to not grit my teeth and politely nod! If you saw my two, you can most DEFINATELY see which one is the boy or girl, my son is soooooooo ''boy'' looking and my daughter is so pretty, she has her hair in ribbons, very girly and I still get the ole - 'which is the boy and which is the girl??!' and ''are they identical??' question's! I again try my best to be polite, but very cleverly make them feel a tad silly by pointing to my clearly-non...

Do you leave your baby outside to sleep?

Yep, we do this with our two aswell, does them the world of good and they sleep a good couple of hours - Of course, like ya self Bubs, I'm either sat outside with them, or we have the patio doors open so I can keep a close eye on them. xxx

2 sacs issue 1 smaller and only 1HB so far.

Hi ya Rachel. When we found out we were PG we went for our 5(ish) week scan to be told there was 2 sacs, one larger than the other and with a HB whereas they thought that the other may not be viable as it was alot smaller than the other. Went back about a week later to see both sacs doing well and both with HB's - Now I have my 2 gorgeous bundles. I'll be keeping everything tightly crossed for you Goodluck xxx

Clomid question... can anyone advise

Hi ya hunni, The first month really is trial and error when you're on clomid, the cons/Dr's need to see which dose is better for you. What dose did you get prescribed? Don't get to down hearted about it. I'm sure your con's/Dr will look at your results from this month's scan's and decide what they're going to do from here on.

PRAMS FOR TWINS

Quoted Originally posted by Claddagh I liked the look of the EasiWalker Duo but it wouldnt go through our door... Our door is not very wide though. This is the pram we've got. Before buying it we got the chance to try it through most doors, we couldn't believe it, it fit's through ours, looking at it you would never have thought so, it's the 'Hummer' of al prams! I love it! Everyone is constantly stopping us aswell because they can tell we have two newborns in their carrycots, it make's me feel...

How many nappies

Hi ya hun. We change our babies at each feed, which at the mo is every 4 hours, so we're currently using up a pack of 24 every 2 days. In the beginning they were having their care's (face washes and nappy changes) done every 6 hours, as that's when the staff nurse's said they had to be done, so we were going through 8 nappies a day then (between the two of them). xxx

A quick question re hospital bag

The list really is a godsend. I packed mine early for obvious reasons and when arriving at the hospital the MW's looked at me and said 'you're moving in long term then?' . I agree with both Cookie and Rose.
