We had treatment there in October 13 and our 1 year old is .sleeping soundly as we speak! We had one attempt left, exhausted the British clinics and felt this was our last chance. I was 43! We had embryo donation because of our failures and only one go at this clinic! They were brilliant from start to finish with us, even sending us a pair of booties when our little man was born! I would recommend them and wish you every success xx I found their pricing average and upfront, never felt as though ...
Good luck on your journey, still plenty of people around if you need advice xx

Aww bless you xx well done for getting so far, you've done a brilliant job!
Lots of people are here to help, it may be just quiet at the moment because of the time of year! If you have any questions then ask away and someone will answer them! Good luck in your journey xx
Just an update for anyone reading this! It does get easier! Little man is 17 almost 18 weeks and I think we've almost cracked it! I'm not on any medication (had everything possible I think) and I can say that 9 out of 10 feeds are fine there is an occasional feed where it all goes wrong again and I get sore but it quickly improves. Every feed bar one is now full breast! I give him a small bottle after his bedtime feed to improve my sleep (lazy mother!) So if you are like me, stubborn, then it do...
Thanks ladies, there are days when I think I can't keep doing this! Then others where it is easy! So just taking it day by day! He's 12 weeks now so it should be easier but I'm still sore!
Still going! Gosh it's still so hard! However, it has got a little easier! I'm glad I'm still doing it but there are still days when I think I've had enough! Little one has got so much better at latching on, I must be so close to it being easy! So continuing for the moment! Still giving some formula when I think he needs it, little one being weighed tomorrow but I'm not worried as he's a little chunk! Lol
I had fantastic treatment in Barcelona! Don't know about Cyprus but perhaps someone will have, good luck xx
I've been brave! I started him back on the right yesterday! The first couple of feeds were ok, I'm struggling in the middle of the night, think I may keep that a bottle feed? Not sure yet! Seeing the lactation consultant today so will discuss everything with her. My biggest problem is the general pain after feeding, I think it is the boobs filling back up, it just hurts all the time! So not sure I can keep it up? Treatment is all coming to an end so I will see how things go! I'm now feeding off ...
Feeling so much better! Alas I'm also getting used to how east bottle feeding can be! I'm still on all my lotions and potions so waiting to finish everything to see if I can get back to breast feeding. He still has left side twice daily as well as expressed milk during that time, still not producing enough for a full feed! But still producing so I'm guessing it can be build back up! But... Absolutely terrified of putting him back on the right side, even though the nipple is almost healed now! An...
Welcome and good luck in your journey xx
Thanks jenny, the nearest one is well over an hour away! What a shame! Hopefully keeping supply up and should be back to feeding a bit by the end of the weekend, I may just resign myself to mixed feeding for a while!
Finally been diagnosed with thrush! this could've been done over a week ago! Anyway now on antibiotics and steroid cream! Having to mix feed now until nipple is healed! Managed without formula so far but will have to give him some tonight! I feel slightly better in that I've had 12 hours of not feeding off the right side! Hoping to go back to feeding when all healed! Pain free in right because of not feeding so I know the latch is still not right! I'll get the lactation specialist to sort it out...
Thanks net, Still struggling, some feeds are perfect so I know it's the latch! But it only takes one bad feed to put me back! It's the pain in between that is the most difficult! I'm now deciding not to go out because of it! Seeing health visitor tomorrow, she's weighing Elliot as clinic said he wasn't putting on enough! So that may make a decision if he's not putting on! But I do want to continue feeding! I just wish it wasn't so bloody hard! He's such a good baby though! he sleeps well so he m...
Thanks Rene and ct, I've tried nipple shields alas I've tried two brands and neither fit very well and I can't seem to manage getting them in place and baby! Sometimes I think I need at least three hands! I'm dreading each feed!
Hi all, Having a real nightmare with feeding! LO is now 8weeks old and I'm still getting loads of pain! I have seen a lactation consultant, she is worried about my latch and hopefully coming back to help me sort it! It's not just pain when he is feeding it's all the time! I'm getting achy breasts and shooting pains around the nipple at all times! This means I struggle to hold and cuddle LO between feeds as I'm so sore! I struggle at night to sleep as no position is comfortable because of the pai...
Thanks for the suggestions ladies, I've had a visit from a lactation consultant and she showed me the football hold, brilliant when she was here, but then couldn't manage it! Tried two types sizes of nipple shields - no good for me! Have changed my sitting position now so it is a little easier, but as my nipples are so sore no feed is pain free! Determined to carry on though, but it's getting close!
