I took the decision to remove it but worried about it for a long time but the dentist did say that it would affect the jaw development slightly and therefore the adult teeth could protrude...

When do you wean?

Personally I wouldnt wean prior to 18 weeks and then only if strongly recommended by HV...I started weaning JJ at about 5.5 months...he was trying to grab my food and crying when I ate.........I delayed it as long as possible as I really didnt want to start before 6 months....

Oh Lordy not Again

not so good in your coffee tho!!!! I can picture it..with JJs penchant for gawking whilst feeding... she sits there serenely, baby gently suckling at her soft white breasts.........patrons smile at her sharing in the the moment of her maternal oneness............little Jack sleepily looks up sensing the warmth of the gazes and turns his head smiling sweetly, eyes sparkling blue with love and happiness........... but.....just as he turns a neatly timed milk bullet flies out of her nipple kareers ...

It is more fun than nutriscional (how on earth do you spell that!!!!?) nutritional plenty of protein elsewhere I agree but its not all suitable finger food.......have you tried finger feeding egg yet....very very funny....dog loves it cos she gets pretty much ALL of it..pulses are also a bi...

Little headbanger

JJ has started to rub the back of his head on things and bash his head with his fist...deep joy...I now have a child with neurosis AND a pooch with them too.........no headbanging yet but Im sure it'll come..think you are doing the right thing...focussing on it could make it a game...distraction is always the key in my book! Edited to say....My LO might not do it...but im regularily bashing my head against a brick wall...so ermm NO she may not grow out of it
