I am 33+5 pregnant and I have been totally ill from the start Now however things have got worse. My lower left back & hip is in agony and I can barely walk, I am so tired all the time, I am still being sick everyday, I can hardly walk as I feel like I have been hit in between the legs with a shovel (sorry tmi). I am in tears constantly and can hardly do anything which is not good as I have a ...

What do you think of this name?

My DH and I can't agree on a Boys name for LO. He hasn't made any suggestions apart from the name Derry. I am unsure of it and think it's a girls name but he loves it. Can you lovely people give me your opinions please :-)

This pregnancy is so different

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had a different pregnancy from the others? (obviously I know no pregnancys are the same but mine are soooo different).....Anyway when I was pg with my 2 girls I had terrible sickness from the start, that's what made me do the tests, also I hated certain smells & foods etc. Third time round though, I feel great and only have sore boobs and feel queasy at night which I can deal with as I just go to bed

Dry Like Me???

I have just invested in 4 boxes on Dry Like Me Pads to start DD2 potty training. Don't know if any of you have heard of them? They are little pads that are designed to be worn in the childs pants and catch any little accidents, they kinda look like a sanitary towel and can be joined together for both types of accidents. Anyway we are going to start them next week, fingers crossed xx

Embarrassing Tantrums

Hi Everyone Well the tantrums did die down a little but not very much. I think DD realised that she caused a lot of upset with the neighbour etc, however she hasn't really changed much. I was going to apologise to my neighbour but now when I think about it,I'm not because little kids will make a noise and she will have to deal with it. Poppit - I've not heard of that book but I am going to have a look in my Library for it, thanks for that :-) Pootle & Flic - Thanks for all your advice. DD does d...

Embarrassing Tantrums

I am at my wits end with my 8yr old DD. Her tantrums are totally horrendous and everything causes them. The final straw was last night when we decided to go out for a drive and get a chippy tea. DD thought we were going to a place quite far way (which we weren't) annd she totally kicked off, screaming and shouting and banging her feet on the stairs. I took a hold of her hand and pulled her down 1 stair and told her to get her shoes on, admittedly I shouted but the situation I was in was so stres...

My sister is due in 5wks and I am her birthing partner and I know I will be even worse after the baby is born. xx

18mth Old woke up with a new personality

I don't know what has got in to DD at the moment. For the past week she has been a little moaner and very fussy with things ie: she won't let DD no1 touch her or hold her hand etc, She follows me around everywhere which i was chuffed about for the 1st few days but now it is stressing me. She has started wakening up during the night crying and when I go in to her room she stops but when I go to sneak back out, she starts screaming again and she has started doing things she knows that she's not al...

Holiday stress

Aww thank you so much for all your help, I really appreciate it and feel much better now. MrsJasper - Its not that she can't eat what we eat but I have never tried her on anything yet, well except fruit & little bits of chips etc. I just feel that she won't be full up if I don't give her a proper meal and she only has 4 teeth (2 at top & 2 bottom) so she can't chew properly yet. I think i'm just being a paraniod mummy eh? ha ha. Thanks again everyone xx

Holiday stress

Can anyone help me out here? We're going to Tenerife on 6th July and DD will be 1 on the 14th when we are there. I am getting stressed about what I should take.......DD has a morning & night bottle but I don't want to take a tub of milk as I am concerned about using the water over there, should I take ready made cartons? although they would probably weigh quite a bit so i'm not keen on that. DD is allowed 10kg of luggage and it has to be packed in her own case but I can't find a suitable case an...

What buggy for holiday?

Hiya I'm looking for a nice light buggy to take on holiday. The 2 I like so far is the Petite Star Zie and the Maclaren Triumph. I had the Maclaren with DD1 in 2003 and quite liked it but now with so many more to choose from I am confused. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks x
