Preschool booster reactions

My DS had his pre school jags a few weeks ago, and one of his arms was the same for about 2 or 3 days, he had no ill effects just a red, slighty swollen bit on his arm.

Sterilising bottles

Hi Cheenab, we stopped sterilising when my DS was 1,just washed them in hot soapy water and rinsed out, left them to dry off and poured the cow's milk in and that was it! So much easier when your not having to faff around washing & sterilising. I didn't wash them with the other dishes though I don't them on their own, then would wash the rest of the dishes if there was any needing done x

Hi Moogle we've tried everything with D, if he wets himself he gets a wrestler taken off him, because he got the wrestling ring and some figures when he came off nappies(DH bought him it). I do take things off him sometimes and i always try when telling him off to get down to his level and raise my voice but not shout, he doesnt even look me in the eye and then will eventually roll his eyes at me and stick his tongue out! Sometimes though i lose the plot and shout at him like a banshee, i hate d...

Chicken pox

Aww poor girls Dusky. You could maybe try shoving some oats into the leg of a pop sock or tights and holding it under the tap whislt running bath so the water turns milky white, this might soothe the skin and also calamine lotion keep dabbing it on couple times a day, i think you can get calamine cream nowadays which is meant to be better than the lotion. Not sure about the bicarb of soda, its fine for chiken pox but don't know about eczema, maybe have a spy on google or call NHS24 and ask. Hope...

I still have D in pull ups at night not that he is anywhere near being dry at night but i use pull ups anyway, not really sure when i should start trying to get him off th...

First holiday abroad with a toddler - did you use a swim vest or anything similar?

One other tip i would give you is instead of taking packs of swim nappies or buying them over there as they are expensive is to buy some reusable swim nappies from Mothercare or Ebay etc, use them, rinse them out dry them and use again they are fab,not only saves on your l...

Baby undoing car seat!!

Hi,we also had this problem with my little monkey, the amount of times i had to stop the car to strap him back in well i've lost count! He finds it funny and leaves me tearing my hair out You can buy something called a Houdini Stop its like a chest strap that fixes on to both straps of car seat,i was thinking about buying one of these although i'm not sure if it would stop him getting out the car seat it may just stop him getting his arms out.
