Help! Thrush in early pregnancy... what can I take?

I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant (yay!) and I seem to have developed thrush this week. It's got pretty uncomfortable today so I'm wondering what remedies I can use? I'm going to try and get an appointment at the docs for tomorrow I think, but wondered if I can use canesten tonight to help?

Baby bath seat or not?

My swivel bath seat was an absolute godsend!! It made me confident that he was ok sitting up in the bath and we could play with his toys together as I had free hands. I know people do without them but my boy was a bit of a wriggler so I needed twenty hands in the bath!

What do you say when people ask when you are having baby number 2??!!

Quoted from "ALI BIRD" You would think that some people would be more sensitive, especially if they know about tx etc. I seem to have people telling me left, right and centre about somebody they know who had tx then went on to get pg naturally, I would give anything for that to happen but I am not going to hold my breath. Why do they think taht this will help me or make me feel better? Oh how annoying is that. I know it's hard to comprehend if you've not been through it, but everyone has an opi...

BUSERELIN QUESTIONS

Hi Lauren, Good luck with your forthcoming tx. I'm a week in on buserelin... side effects for me are a few headaches, a bit of bloatedness (but this could be the comfort food consumption! ) mood swings, and full on tiredness!!! None of it is too dramatic, but I would warn your other half about the mood swings just incase!

signs already?????

Quoted from "Grace" Side effects from anything that interferes with your natural hormone production starts really quickly so yes even though you've only been taking it for a few days it will already have started to effect you. As Jessica says bloating is very common as are headaches and hot flushes, but something that the drs don't warn you about (and neither does the medication leaflet that comes with the drugs) is that you may also feel weird, spaced out or fuzzy headed. I totally lost the ab...

Quoted from "RunningMum" Hi cupcake, how are you feeling about saturday nervous, excited? I've just got my referral to a consultant at the hospital for 16th November 6 week wait, but i decided it was better to wait longer and see a consultant with a good reputation, don't know if that's the right decision or not.... Hi Running Mum! It's next saturday I start d/r. and yes... I'm nervous, excited, apprehensive etc etc!! I can't wait to just get started and get on with it. I hate all the waiting a...

IN THE NEWS - Fertility stories making the headlines

British IVF pioneer Robert Edwards wins Nobel prize British scientist Robert Edwards, the man who devised the fertility treatment IVF, has been awarded this year's Nobel prize for medicine. His efforts in the 1950s, 60s and 70s led to the birth of the world's first "test tube baby" in July 1978. Since then more than four million babies have been born following IVF. Does anyone else feel like this?

Great words from the ladies above (as usual on here!) Gemma, I know exactly what you mean. It's strange to think we are trying for a second, in some ways it's less daunting than our first IVF cycle, in other ways it seems more so! I suppose the fact that we are not venturing into the unknown this time helps. I think I'm less anxious this time as I do know what to expect from it all. However, thinking that if we are lucky enough we could have another child, is a scary prospect. I love my little b...

Anyone else on Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth waiting list?

Just a quick word about St Helier... I didn't have my treatment there, but I did give birth to my little boy there. All was good and we were well looked after.
