Swine Flu Vaccine

HIya, I am 30+ weeks pregnant and I am getting the vaccine. I think under 12 weeks it is less safe and maybe wait til after that (my cousin is 9 wks and has been told that) but I think the sf risk far outweigh the vaccine. Don't really want to have it - but think that it is best. too many awful stories of babies being born at 31 weeks and mothers dying etc. For me, I feel risk not worth it, lol Lesa x

HIya, I would think you would need to be over op by at least 2 weeks. Believe me, i know you don't want to dleay it by a second - but it would be too much. It is too emotional after major surgery etc. What does your sw advise? Lesa x

I love him with my whole heart - even when he is in bad form. When we met Tamah on the second day and she placed her head against my shoulder - I felt the saem ...

Poor Isla

Hi Nic, superfoods are great. I know brocolli, peas and blackberries are among them - also that linseed stuff that you can mix into soup/porridge etc. Tamah has bad asthma too, and it is so hard on them. Thinking of you xx

Adenoids out, uh oh!

HI Donna, when is this op? My ds had tonsils out when he was 3 - they thought about taking our his adenoids - i wish they had as he and my dh have terrible trouble with them. He will be ok - it is def very hard for the parent - but they are used to doing this and it is very routine for them. Thinking of you though xxx

work and adoption

Basil, I am sorry, I have only just seen this! Our sw before panel took our last three pay slips and all our last three bank statements. I think this is just to prove you financially viable. I am currently llking into statutuory adoption leave (as since we moved 18 months ago I don't have a permanent job). If you or anyone else knows how I find out about this, please tell me!!1 If I find out anything, basil, i will let you know too, love lesa xx
