Don't give up

Hi ladies
I've been on FZ for over a year now. I don't post very often but I've gained a lot of hope, inspiration and knowledge from those of you who share your stories on here. So, I thought I'd share mine in the hope that it might help some others who are going through the emotional rollercoaster that is TTC!
After trying for 10 months, we thought something might be wrong and were sent for all the usual tests. Eventually we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility and we were put on the two year NHS waiting list for IVF. As I was fast approaching 38 we decided it wasn't wise to wait and decided to go private. We had 2 cycles in June and December last year, both of which resulted in devastating chemical pregnancies (still detest that term!!!)
We decided to try again in March of this year and while waiting for AF discovered that we'd got pregnant naturally!!! I took prednisolone and clexane for the first 13 weeks to help implantation (which was going to be part of my treatment on our 3rd cycle). I had my 20 week scan earlier this week and everything is looking great. Our baby is due on 21 November and we couldn't be more delighted!
There were days when I never thought it would be our turn, and everyone around us seemed to be getting pregnant without any trouble at all. But miracles do happen, and I have everything crossed for those of you who are still waiting for your own little miracle.
Wishing you all lots of babydust
