Angel care sensor mat

Does anyone else use this monitor?
Looking for some advice if any one can help.
DS is in his cotbed, loves to sleep in all sorts of positions throughout the night, the alarm kept going off and we would always rush in there and find him up the very top of the cot, so we moved the mat in the very middle of the cot so the range would pick him up but now it keeps doing it again when he is up the top or right down the bottom!! It says in the manual not to adjust the sensitivity button on the base, so not really sure what we can do?
Has this happened with anyone else's? If so how did you sort it?
It scares the life out of me everytime it goes off, makes me worry so much I fly out of bed!!!! ;)
Thanks in advance x

We did adjust the sensitivity button. We played around with it lots until we were happy with it as found it too sensitive. We had it in the middle of her cot on a wooden board DH made the same size as the cot, so it would be even and I think that may have helped with coverage too. It would very rarely go off. I loved mine and could not have done without it!

I used this too. My lo was/is a massive wriggler. We put it in the middle with sensitivity up full. In the whole time we used the sensor, it only went off twice.
