Blood screening

I have finally received our appointment for blood screening. We are having donor sperm so hubby would hardly need to be getting his bloods done would he? Consent form's are there for him but I thought maybe that was just standard procedure to send forms out. Anyone know?

Possibly, you might want to ring and ask. It could be that he needs to give consent to the treatment. People normally do have to give consent, even if you are using donors.

I rang and he does have to get bloods. We just can't understand why, not that it matters. It's just strange.
