my dad and me have both noticed that babies tend to get 1st teeth by 7 months onwards
my DD is 11 1/2 months and only just cut her 1st tooth and she was underweight and 4 weeks early
has any other preemie mums have babies who are slow are cutting teeth???
my daughter was a 25 weeker and her first tooth came in at 16 months
mum to ruqayyah concieved on clomid born at 25 weeks
I dont think that it always corresponds with being premature. My dd was born at 38 weeks and didnt get her first tooth til almost 9 months and my brothers wee girl who was 10 days overdue didnt get her first tooth til she was 14 months x

Lap and dye August 05 unblocked both tubes.

I agree, it's variable between all babies. The textbook average is 6-7 months. My ds was 10 weeks early and had his first at 10 months (which if you allow for the prematuirty would have made him 71/2 months ish) however my bestfrinds liitle boy turned one in oct, and had his first in november. There really is no telling so don't worry.

True that children differ vastly as to when their teeth. C had his first at 4 1/2 months, my nephew - born at 37 weeks - cut his first at something over 10 months and my friend's little boy - who was born 2 days after his EDD - didn't cut his first till he was 14 months.
