feeling sad

last week my husband's father died
and the next day my aunt

we live overseas

my husband has gone back for his funeral, but I am stuck here, as there is no way I can or want to expose my boys to two family worth of grief

one funeral was yesterday, the other today - and I am here alone and feeling like I cannot grief proper, cannot be there to support my mother, cannot be there to support my husband

I feel so sad

Oh hunni, I'm so sorry to hear this. You must feel awful stuck as you say miles away. I'm sure your mum appreciates why you can't be there. And your husband will know your thoughts are with him. What a horrible loss so close together

Thinking of you hunni xx

thanks ladies - it was a really tough decision to make as I really wanted to be there, but I did have to think of the children.

thankfully DH is flying home this evening, so things will be a bit better.

I'll always feel guilty for not going though.
