salt free veg stock

hi there

does anyone know if you can buy salt free stock, or is the only option to make it? Our freezer is not huge and with all their frozen puree in it, I could do without more!

Thanks

Rosie

RE: salt free veg stock

don't think you can buy salt-free stock, but there is an organic brand (Kallo) that is a low salt version.....

A tiny bit in a low salt veg stock made up with more water than it says on the tub won't do any harm. Or just use water, it might taste bland to you but babies don't know any better so they think its yummy

i have found a stock suitable for babies and toddlers

YIIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I HAVE FOUND A STOCK, BEEF GRAVY, CHICKEN GRAVY, TOMATO & BASIL SAUCE AND A CHEESE SAUCE, suitable for babies 4-6 months onwards :D

Its made by HEINZE, COOK AT HOME, Range for babies and toddlers
ASDA sells them, they are BRILLIENT thumbup

They dont come in a cube, but in a sachet already made up, which is even easier, you just add a sachet of the stock to your cooked veg, and HEY PRESTO, Instant soup, gravy, cheese sause ect, etc

they also have a website www.tinytums.co.uk

No salt in them, or very, very little, they are made specially for babies and so the salt content is very minimal
