Nah, but I got Clinique and Clarins things so everyone was happy!
He got her a gorgeous traditional Indian outfit, you know the ones with pants, sorry trousers, and a thigh length tunic type top over, in beautiful embroidered pink silk (in my ignorance, I don't know the name for this!). Sadly it needs altering to fit and the pants (trousers) are too long yet. When I've altered it I'll post a pic of her modelling it.

Aww kids do the most fab things don't they!

My niece was making me laugh last night. We had ordered an indian for tea and it seemed to be taking a long time.

I phoned them to see where they had got to and Daisy (my niece) shouted up 'tell them to get a move on. i'm starving'
lmao

Couldn't believe it. She is 3 going on 13!

Isla is now saying the world "cuddle". She stands at the other side of the room, shouts cuddle at the top of her voice and runs at you at full speed with her arms wide open. It is the best feeling in the world getting that big cuddle x

This is great thread.
I love the sound of the babies giggling and chuckling when I nuzzle their chests. Also, it's hilarious when they plop down on their bottoms when they get tired of standing up and look all shocked and surprised. Every time!

This did not just make me smile - it had me sitting on the floor, howling with laughter:
I went to my cousin's confirmation 2 weekends ago and during the course of the evening one of my old aunts asked Connor "who is this" while poking my on the chest (just above the armpit level) and C responded with a huge grin "Titty!" When the aunt asked again but patted me on the shoulder he said: "Mammy!" once again with that huge grin. So she tried again with the chest poke and he responded "Titty" this time he started laughing as everyone else in the room was howling at this stage. I was red-faced but oh what a good laugh... lmao

They make very funny faces don't they? Mooch has a cracking one for when she can't get her own way, she sort of pulls her eyebrows forward and frowns at you, then gets most upset that instead of it making us give in to her, it just makes us laugh!

Also today she has gone out with MIL (I am suppose dto be ironing!) and just as she was about to get in the car, I shouted her and blew her a kiss, she came running back down the drive to give me a big kiss. Aaawww!

Aw Glitzy, that's so cute ( i kill plant on a regular basis so it wouldn't survive long here either :P )

There is a new girl started in Isla's class.
Isla came home and said " mum, we need to have C over for dinner 'cos she doesn't have any friends yet, so i will make her my friend. It's not nice being lonely "
made me so proud of my wee girl.

Sitting in the doc waiting room and Isla sits down next to the wee old lady and has a completely random conversation with her finishing with Isla going " hope you feel better soon " she was in talking to the doc and he asked her something about her being sick and she says " it's just totally discusting " doc says " you sure you are only 6 " and she says " yeah, you silly cookie "

Watching a wildlife programme with my SIL
SIL - look at the monkey Isla
Isla - that's not a monkey, it's a chimpanzee :snigger:

my daughter is a total smart*rse, but by god it is funny sometimes.

Ha ha ha!! This thread has made me laff (and sniffle a bit). I love it!

Loopylala - E does something similar. She makes a very strong grrrrrrr noise and when I ask her what's wrong she says with a humph 'I'm fed up now humph' and storms off!

She also likes to say 'I'm bored' even though she doesn't know what it means.

Another little one is when she gets herself on the loo she shoos me away and says 'mum you go away now and drink your tea, I'm going to sit here and read a book'.

She's nearly 3 going on 23.

I'm always telling Isla that she has to put her coat on because its cold outside, or you cant go out in the garden today because its cold outside etc etc. She now thinks that outside the house is actually called "the cold outside"!

For example yesterday it was really sunny and she said to me "mummy its sunny in the cold outside today!" Makes me laugh so much :snigger:
