Fantastic job elmo!!!! I think you've done absolutely brilliantly and given them so much.

It does get tough when they're craning to see the world around them as you have to decide whether to catch them from falling off your knee or grab your top and spare the world an eyeful eh? :D

Good work that woman! :]

Elmo, that's fab! What's your top tips and do you use an inflatable cushion?

didn't buy a feeding cushion, just used the arm of the sofa and lots of cushions!
the best advice i can think of is to persevere! its so hard during the first few weeks when you feel like ur nipples are being sucked off and i cried a few times and curled my toes each time they latched as it hurt like hell but if you can get through those 1st weeks it gets so much easier and is so so rewarding! also not only is it the best thing for baby, its free, its always the right temp, you don't have to sterilise your boobs, no measuring out bottles, no making up night feeds......i could go on and on!
also take as much advice from the hospital as possible, one of my girls wouldn't latch on and i got really upset but the midwives were fab and advised me on lots of different positions till finally she latched.

It can be tough at first but the hard work pays off in the long run, for example we were coming back from london yesterday and the A2 was closed in both directions- what normally takes about 40mins took 3 hours , my boobs came in very handy with a screaming baby stuck in her carseat :D

It gets even easier now Elmo as the weeks go on and they start to feed more and more on solids the BM feeds will become just a few times a day xx
