Hmmmmm... Should be okay to start now as their digestive systems have been appropriately stimulated for a year. Besides, C started cows milk at... You know I can't remember if it was 8, 9 or 10 months (started after discussing with clinic nurse and paediatricain) - but he was defo on cows milk by 10 months for the latest

As long as they're eating a rich and varied diet by now and getting the appropriate vitamins, minerals and iron they need from other food and drinks then it's fine to switch to cows milk.

It gets so much easier now

If they have been drinking cow's milk formula with no obvious allergies or eczema or wind they should be fine.

Thanks girls, they only have a 8oz bottle on a morning and last thing at night and have water with their meals so they are not having loads of bottles now.

Bells - the feeding may get easier but the twins seem to be getting harder work now they're mobile. :snigger:

Well still no joy with the cows milk. The girls just spit it out so we are still on the formula for now.

My midwife said once they turn one, they dont take into consideration how premature they are with development side of things. They can have it from one, just keep trying them a little bit every day hun. Saying that Nephew hates cows milk will only have the growing up milk, my friends twins hated it at first but she kept trying them with it and they love it now.
