help with baby/nappies

hi all

i have had enough of this problem and trying to deal with it so i need your help and advice please

my little madam sticks her fingers in her sleepsuits or down her pjs to get to her nappy which at the time shes probably pooed in it
she likes to play with it and if shes in bed quiet we think shes sleeping

anyway this morning she woke up crying around 5am so im knackered out
she had took her pjs bottoms off and her pooey nappy and had her fingers in it at some point as was all over the cot

had to bath her wash the bedding and wipe down the cot -not fun at 5am when your tired

ive tried sleepsuits pjs vests to stop her doing it but she finds a way

any advice to help her grow out of it or stop her doing it -short of making a metal nappy and bolting it on

Hi!

Have you tried putting her in a sleeping bag to go to bed in? I think they'd be really hard for her to undo so it might solve the problem!

Good luck!

A sleepsuit on backwards might help.

Don't laugh at this, it's tried and tested ... :snigger: Get some gaffer tape (Duct tape) and wrap a length around her waistband (over the fasteners but leaving a gap above so that it doesn't rub) at night, all the way around so that it's stuck on itself at the ends. This will stop her from undoing her nappy but it's easy for you to rip open when you undo it in the morning. It won't stop her from putting her hands inside her nappy though.

Over that I second a gro-bag.

.... they grow out of it
