if it goes when the glass is on it, and doesnt look like blood blisters or purple dots, then I would say it sounds like a viral rash.

Has G had a cold or sniffle recently? If yes, then it more than likely is a viral rash - it happens when the body overreacts to the virus and the immune system shows up by overcompensating causing a rash.

Alternatively, it could be an allergy.

How is he generally apart from the rash?

Just to let you know G had a stomach bug the week before he went away which did clear up.

Could this be the cause?

Or could it be a heat rash?

I know Sarah is worried and has asked me to look out for replies.x

We were in Spain last week and M got a heat rash on her chest, she was fine in herself, it sounds similar to how you have described G's rash.

Hope G is ok.

I think your instincts are right again, both of my twins had what sounds like a similar rash on their tummies after 4 days at centerparcs last month. They were both perfectly fine in themselves and I wasn't sure whether it was viral or some sort of skin irritation from being in the pool for hours every day (though it was a bit weird that it was just on their tummies).

I guess I think if they're eating and drinking ok, are happy and don't have a temp then its probably nothing to worry about....
