I think my baby is a food monster

This morning O woke up at about 7am and had a milk feed.

It then took 3 bowls of porridge, a fruit pot and a yoghurt to fill her until she had her nap.

I kept putting her down for her nap because she was exhausted after her first bowl of porridge but she just kept crying and crying. After every bowl I put her down for a nap and she just cried and cried. Eventually after her yoghurt she has gone down like she normally does with no fuss.

Do you think she's having a growth spurt or do I just have a food monster on my hands?

I mean the porridge was mad up with milk, 5oz altogether!

She was poorly all last week and lost almost 1lb in weight because she was off her food, so you think she's just making up for it??

I don't want to turn her into an overweight baby.

Our miracle was born on 25.02.2010!!

I haven't got a clue, Flick, because I have no experience whatsoever. But if she's been ill and lost a pound - that's a lot for her total weight, I'd guess she's just a smart baby who needs to make up for it. She must be staaaarving now that her appetite is back. Congratulations on having such a good eater!
