Hi there,

DO need advice on Baby highchairs
personally I would definitely recommend the cheap Ikea one, found in abundance in restaurants, cafes, etc!

Hi
Was coming on to recommend the Ikea one too, easy to clean, not to big to tuck out of the way when not in use and cheap to boot! x
We've got a Tripp Trapp that I absolutely love but it wasn't cheap. When we were away in Wales the house had provided an Ikea highchair that Meg used and it was really good. I'm thinking of getting one for my in-laws house for her when I'm back at work.

I too would recommend the IKEA high chair. I have had half a dozen or more over the years the most expensive being £150. It was a total waste of money, they are big & bulky, they look nice but if it's practicality your after you can't beat the IKEA highchair. I always find the padded ones rip & the straps get mucky , I spent more time cleaning them than the babies were in them xx

I bought a nice wooden one (which is sitting in William's room holding a teddy) and a white, plastic IKEA one which I wouldn't swap for anything.

I have a chicco jazzy, it has a tray, folds up nice and neat to keep in the kitchen and it's around £40.
Seat is nice and padded and am really pleased with it. Only niggle is LO sometimes looks a bit lop sided but this is because the seat is quite wide which I see as a bonus as it will last him. Ikea one is good too, used these in restaurants and much prefer them to the wooden ones you get. I don't think you can fold the ikea one so it's not suitable for us at we have a living/dining area and fold he highchair up when we are not using it. Don't go for the ones that go up and down, I bought one initially and ended up sending it back to kiddicare to get the jazzy as it was too big and bulky.
