Lily having a conversation with daddy about his laptop..........
"Mummy can get the Dora game on her computer apparently"
Fi said it didn't sound quite right coming from a 2 year old.

Yesterday morning Lily was climbing into her car seat (has to do everything all by herself nowadays) while Fi put Samuel in the car, then made space in the boot for the shopping. Lily was kneeling up facing the back of the car, and when Fi shut the boot, Lily's fingers got nipped by the parcel shelf. She cried until Fi said "what do you think might help - a jelly snake?"
"Yes it would"
Fi went back in for the sweet and brought a banana as well.
Lily took one look and said "A banana won't help!"

She cracks me up!!

Brilliant thread : D

My niece was visiting me at the weekend. She's 3 and a gorgeous little thing. Anyway I was telling her that I needed to change Casey's nappy. Has he done a wee in his nappy she asks.
Yes I reply he has. So off I go and take off his nappy. Oh my god she replies with panic, what's on his bum!! I cried with laughter at this little horrifed innocent thing.
I then had to explain to her that Casey being a boy has a willy. She's one of 3 girls and hadn't seen one before. : D

my son (nearly 5) asked me in all seriousness where does poo come from and how does it work?

so i said poo comes from food. you eat food and the good bits help your bones and organs liiver kdney etc to work and the bad bits go through a pipe leading to your bottom and then you trump or poo.

lovely settle down to sleep conversation :-D

Love these! My LO isn't talking yet but had to share this, which was from a 3 year old relation (hard to explain as in-law, step and all that LOL!).

Anyway, she was swimming with her grandma and wanted to try it without her armbands. She did and was paddling away and when she ventured to the deeper end she said "Grandma, they've put too much water in!" I thought it was so funny

I helped O put her pj top on because she'd put it on back to front so I helped her turn it round. When I'd done it she looked at me and goes 'Cheers Mam!'

Conversation between C and my mother.
C: Gran, what kind of car does your boss have?
Gran: He has 3 cars - a Merc, a Jeep and a Porsche.
Him: Why does he have 3 cars?
Gran: Cos he can.
Silence, then - Him: What do they look like?
So she points out a similar Merc and a similar Jeep, saying we won't see a Porsche because not a lot of people can afford to buy one as it costs a lot of money.
Him: If it costs a lot of money, then your boss will lose all his money. You must have more than a lot of money so that you can have change after buying a Porsche. Did your boss have change?
Gran, smiling: Yes....
How do you explain to a child the concept of : bragging via debt?

Well the childern are just copy cats because what they listen what they see all around them the copy all that. So a good home environment is necessary for the a good mind growth of your child. If you abuse in front of your child then he also copy that.

The older they get, the funnier they get. This morning my 6 year old told me that she has a baby in her tummy because she kissed a boy at school 'on the lips'. Now I know why I spent 3 years ttc, we were doing something COMPLETELY different.

Yesterday I had a conversation with the little 'un who's is 3:
me: stop scraping your toes on the floor, you'll ruin your shoes.
Her: (looks down at shoes) It's ok mummy, I can just get a new pair.
Me: Oh right, and how are you going to pay for those?
Her: (thinks for a minute) Well mummy, you can come with me and bring your purse.
Me: :riv:

Ds had a shock one night as I was giving him a hug on my lap (tummy to tummy) and lo decided to give a really big kick he shot off me soo fast and said mummy what was that?
His face was a picture.
I explained that it was the baby and then he said you mean the baby kicked me!
I said yes he wanted me to put the baby on the naughty step for kicking!!!
I drop him off to nursery the next day he goes straight up to the teacher and tells her mummy's baby is naughty it kicked me!

Walking through the park with O and my work mate a little girl goes past and says Hello. O ignored her!
Me: you're not very social are you O?!
O: No, I don't like people.
Friend: why don't you like people?!
O: cos they're all idiots!
