How to stop LO rolling in his cot?

DS has been rolling over for a while now, rolls every way possible when on the floor with no problems!!
but this past week he keeps rolling in his cot, getting stuck on his tummy and waking 10+ times in the night crying!!!
He's in a sleeping bag, but he can roll over on to his tummy perfectly fine so don't think that is restricting him rolling back the other way? My sister said to try him with a blanket instead of the sleeping bag but I don't feel comfortable doing that, and his bedroom is never overly warm even with the heating on so putting nothing on him isn't really an option either, until the summer!!!!
Any advise ladies? I'm so shattered this week, what with him waking himself up when rolling or i am just constantly on edge if i haven't heard him panicking thinking he is face down or something!!!

Hmm... At his age unfortunately I don't think that any "support" will help as he is already able to roll over consciously. To be honest once they start there is no stopping them so the options are:
1) Let him cry it out and learn to settle on his tummy too (hmm... not something I could do but some people are strong enough)
2) Teach him to roll back while in the bag and re-settle himself
3) double check that the waking is not due to other factors like teething...

Others will probably be along with more and possible better advice but this is all I can think of off-hand

Thanks ladies,
Well last night after waking a few times I took him out his sleeping bag and turnt the heating up in his room and he slept till 7 this morning!!
That's really not something I want to do every night though unless I go and invest in some thick baby gros!!
Will practise with him in the day rolling back and forth with his sleeping bag on, see if that helps xfingers!!!
