Feeling a bit sad, no more breasting for me...............

................I've just put Poppy to bed for the first time without feeding her. She looked a bit confused but has gone down without a fuss so I guess she is ready to quit too. I am not sure whether to be pleased or upset that she's not bothered!

The time has gone so fast, she's not a baby any more but a willful toddler who is full of character and comedy. She is going to be hungry tonight though as she refused her dinner!!

I feel proud that I fed both my girls for 18 months, I think it's probably one of the best things I've achieved in my life. Time to move on though I guess, why can't they stay babies for longer? I am now going to eat a magnum................

Well done on reaching 18 months! I am still going strong at 14 months and will also be feeling incredibly sad when I stop ( also have 18 months as my 'cut off'). I guess try and look at it as the start of the next exciting chapter for you an your DD. Xx

My LO is the same age and I had 18 months as the cut off too....haven't quite got there yet but am dreading it. Well done, as others have said 18 is fab  The time goes way to fast doesn't it, it makes me quite sad, but each next stage is so amazing. hope she is settling well and you are enjoying the magnums :) xxx
