Hi Anniebell I've private mailed you about your cycle question on the other thread. They wouldn't give it to me over the phone the girl said it will be 4 weeks . They meet with the sister every Monday to discuss who gets put in what slot.

Belfast123 I have endo and on both my icsi cycles I had prostap but only one injection in Clinic before starting home injections - as far as I know prostap is supposed to kick start your ovaries (after down regulating ) and provide a boost before starting gonal f or whatever stimms medication you are on x

Congrats to all the BFPs and everyone who has reached the top of the list I love coming on and seeing everyone’s updates - I only went on the list in the rfc in August so looks like it’ll be May or June for me if this cycle doesn’t work .. babydust to everyone xx

I also have endo (doesn't it suck?!) and I have heard of prostap but haven't been offered anything out of the normal for my ivf round coming up. I had a lap in august and there was a mention of an injection to shut down my ovaries until ivf but doctor was concerned that shutting them down for too long might lead to other problems, e.g. Bone density so didn't take anything post op. I start my nasal spray this Saturday.

I had a lap last Nov and one in June this year and the consultant advised me to go on the monthly injection for three months prior to starting ivf so I’m currently waiting for my period to return before ivf starts. I’m still waiting on my letter to say I’ve reached the top of the list. Fingers crossed it comes next week as I was referred 22nd Feb

Yes I'm with the RFC but this go is private as I was advised that my chocolate cysts may return post lap so to proceed with ivf asap and I only signed NHS ivf in June. Saying that our appt to be put on private ivf has taken time, appt was end of September, bloods end of Oct, ptc 7th Nov, nasal spray starts this Saturday, injections end of Dec with provisional dates for EC and ET start of January. Just hoping the cysts haven't returned or I'll be starting it all over again with another op, which I just don't think I'd cope with.

Joys I had a lap in April to remove cysts (one was left because of position )and 2 cycles privately since because we were told we didn’t have much time due to damage already done ..but just to let you know I have a 10cm cyst on my ovary/ bowel and iv still be able to continue and got eggs from both ovaries (just a bit harder to get to one of them ) but if you’ve already started and they find cysts there is a good chance they will be able to continue anyway .. stay positive worry is the last thing you need xx

Oh really? Thank you so much for letting me know, I've been in such a panic that I'm going to go through the next month if sprays and injections to be turned away if the cysts have returned. It's good to know there are options. So grateful for this forum and all the support and advice.
